I livstruende situationer afhænger menneskets overlevelse af styrke, kammeratskab og ens følgesvends evner - hvis man kan holde vedkommende ud. To fremmede, med helt forskellig baggrund og filosofi , sættes på en rejse gennem barskt terræn for at finde hjælp og genvinde deres frihed. De afleveres på et aftalt sted kun udstyret med et 2 meters kabel, der binder dem sammen, et kort og en minimal overlevelsespakke. De to modsætninger har ti-tolv dage til at overvinde deres uoverensstemmelser og samarbejde for at slippe ud af den vilde natur.

In dire situations, man s greatest survival tool is the strength, comradeship and skill of the people he is with...as long as he can stand them. InTethered, two people from opposite backgrounds and philosophies must embark on an epic journey across treacherous terrain on a mission to find rescue. But, in the harsh wilderness, the best way to force two polar opposites to work together is to physically lock them at the waist by a six-foot steel cable. Stripped away of nearly every modern convenience, these two tethered survivalists will be forced to pool their ingenuity and work together, whether they like it or not!
